Partial Discharge Filter Unit

The GTU200 is an optimized measuring unit for detection of partial discharges with an oscilloscope. Due to its very sensitive PD detection in the UHF range and high interference suppression in the low frequency range, measurements with different test voltage shapes are possible. Various sensors for PD detection can be connected to the input. Solfas RF current sensors offer the advantage of high sensitivity and isolation from the test voltage. PD measurements with the GTU200 and pulse shaped test voltages offer completely new possibilities for electric motor testing. It is now possible to test the isolation between phases and single turns. This enables new non-destructive tests for more reliable products.
